Are beginners welcome?
Yes, most of our children start with zero Mandarin. Every theme begins with spoken words, pictures and real objects; characters are introduced later, once your child already knows the sound.
Neither parent speaks Mandarin, and my child has no basics. Will they feel left behind?
It helps if a family member speaks Mandarin at home, but it's not required. We welcome children starting from zero, and our curriculum is built to grow their speaking skills and confidence from the ground up.
What ages are suitable?
Mandarinly Kids is for children aged 4 to 12. We offer Speak Junior and Speak Explorer, plus Immersion Junior for our youngest learners.
Is Immersion only for children heading to SJKC?
No. About one family in three is SJKC-bound, while the rest simply want their child reading and writing Mandarin properly from an early age. Either way, Immersion builds the same solid foundation.
Where is the class held?
Seksyen 15, Shah Alam.
I'm not sure about the schedule.
Class times are set based on what works for the majority of families in the group, so they're open for discussion. Just message us your preferred times and we'll see how we can work out a best arrangement.
What if I have more than one child?
Sibling placements are welcome. Message us and we'll arrange a schedule and offer that works for your whole family.
